Kye Marsh's 'As Bricks Do a Wall' explores the connection between space and self, investigating the relationship and emotions those spaces evoke as time passes. Within the sculptural spaces created in 'As Bricks Do a Wall’, Marsh delves into scenes from his youth, places which shaped and held him in moments he'd come to cherish, regret and long to re-experaiance.

"My connection with space is something which fascinates me. the emotions i felt when revisiting them is something i wish to share, and  the connection I aim to create is universal - born through stories and feelings people have in common. The streets personal to me look the same as ones you may have walked, and the classrooms I've sat in share the same decorations as the ones you once sat in too. This commonality within our separate, individual lives is what I believe allows us to share ideas and understanding and create communities whose tie is together."
